At Cyan Clayworks CIC we run regular courses for adults, have a membership and offer individual tuition. We are Fiona and Chris, experienced ceramic artists with lots of enthusiasm for clay! The studio is a social enterprise and working studio, where we make our own ceramic pieces. Alongside our individual creative practices, we focus on encouraging and enabling creative learning for adults in a friendly supportive environment (please note we’re not able accommodate children or those with additional support needs). Courses, workshops and tuition are booked through Ticket Tailor. Prices are fully inclusive of materials, use of tools, and firings.

Established in 2012, we have been based at Commercial Street since 2023. The front exhibition space showcases our own work and is open to the public Fridays and most Saturdays, plus occasionally other days. There are special events on at intervals such as our annual Fringe exhibition and open studio events. Other times by appointment, or if the shutters are up feel free to pop in! If you’re travelling specially to see us we would recommend calling ahead first, as we may be teaching or at another event. Details below of a forthcoming sale day.
